Indie games are hit-or-miss, but if they truly hit the jackpot, like Buckshot Roulette, they instantly become cult classics. Buckshot Roulette introduces us to shotgun roulette with the ‘Dealer,’ a game between life and death where the stakes are too high. The gameplay loop is simple yet challenging as it’s not a simple and stale roulette; it comes with significant powerups.

Buckshot Roulette: Every Item, Explained
Playing this deadly roulette can be pretty difficult without knowing what each item does. Use this guide to learn tips about them.
A few months after its launch, the developers added the most requested feature: Multiplayer mode. This allows you to invite three friends to the table for a game of death; only one person wins. Here’s how you can access it.
How To Invite Friends And Play Multiplayer
Unfortunately, since there is no matchmaking feature yet, the only way to play multiplayer is to invite your friends through the Steam Overlay method.
From the main menu, you can access the multiplayer section of the game, which leads you to a pip-boy-esque menu. The menu allows you to host a table with three rounds and invite up to four people maximum or use anyone’s lobby ID to join theirs.
The rules are the same as those in the single-player mode with zero modifications: conserve your items and survive to be the last man standing, ultimately winning.
Being in a group with four players isn’t a mandatory requirement, so you can play a one-on-one game with a single person.
Unlike the Dealer, everyone is titled ‘High-roller.’ If you’re the host, you can skip the banger song intro and head directly into the game.
New Items In Buckshot Roulette Multiplayer
With the release of the multiplayer mode, the 50/50 pills have been vaulted to maintain the game’s balance between you and your friends. While almost every other power-up item is still available, one new item called the “Remote” has made its way to the game to increase the stakes.
The Remote functions in an eerie way: It can change the table’s direction, causing someone to miss their turn. It’s a fun tool to mess around with your friends or to turn the game’s tide against the leading player.
