BC.Game Parent Bankrupt, But Everything is Fine? – Yurika.R

The parent company of BC.Game has been declared bankrupt, but the brand says there is no major problem, this is an administrative issue, and the brand is not in danger.  

Blockdance BV transferred ownership to Small House in April 2024, but in the process, the companies lost a significant amount of player funds. In the confusion, the two companies did not pay their regulatory and licensing fees, and there are claims that Small House breached Curacao’s licensing conditions. 

Now both companies have been made bankrupt by the Curacao authorities.

Player Disputes Top $2 Million

Three players have filed disputes, with one player alone claiming almost $1.5 million of lost funds and another claiming $680,000. There’s a third claim for $11,000, but that’s small fry in comparison.   

In court, both parties disputed the debts. They presented separate defense cases, and essentially tried to pass the responsibility for the funds to the other party. Blockdance claimed it transferred full ownership, including these liabilities. Small Houses confirmed the takeover, but denied responsibility for the outstanding debts. The court ruled that both companies had failed to meet their obligations, and placed a bankruptcy order on the pair of them.
