Betsul highlights the relevance of the sports betting and gambling industry to the Brazilian economy and tourism

The Arnold Sports Festival is one of the largest multi-sport events in the world. Launched in 1989 by Jim Lorimer and Arnold Schwarzenegger, it brings discussions on the topic to various parts of the world. This has been happening in Brazil since 2013.

This year, the Arnold Sports Festival hosted the 2nd Hospitality and Tourism Forum, held in collaboration with IDT-CEMA (Institute for Development, Tourism, Culture, Sports and Environment), which brought the topic of gambling and betting to the stage.

At the conference, Fernando Garita, CEO of Betsul, brought his experiences in the gaming and betting sector to an audience that was hungry for news from this segment. Although there are no final regulations yet, the executive made it clear that everything will be finalized soon and the activity in Brazil can continue to operate in a regulated manner.

Garita emphasized the focus of his presentation on the importance of entertainment activities such as casinos, shows, theme parks and sporting events. He categorically stated that games bring countless benefits to the country, such as job creation and taxes.

Regarding casinos, he emphasized how much this activity guarantees the attraction of tourists to Brazil, as is the case in other countries where the sector is legalized. For Garita, all types of games should be viewed as entertainment and a great business opportunity in the hotel industry.
