Caixa Loterias hires BMM Testlabs for technical certification of betting systems – Yurika.R

After being approved by the Ministry of Finance as a certification entity in Brazil, BMM Spain Testlabs was hired by Caixa Loterias to provide technical certification services for the fixed odds betting system.

In April, the laboratory obtained certification for online betting systems from the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA) and the Paraná State Lottery (Lottopar).

Caixa Loterias was founded in 2015 to manage federal lotteries, which include the traditional Mega-Sena bets and other products. One of the objectives of the subsidiary is to gain agility in the face of competition from betting, of a different nature and regulated by the government last year.

Regarding the license application submitted to operate fixed odds betting, the state-owned company stated: “As a relevant player in the Brazilian lottery market, it is constantly developing new products and gaming businesses. The documents required by current regulations have been submitted.”
