A former 343 developer’s profile suggests that work has already begun on an old Halo game, but that won’t happen for many years.

The other part of the profile is Ian Slutz, former Senior Character Systems Designer. He doesn’t mention Halo, but says that he hasn’t worked with Unreal Engine 5 at all since April 2022 and only has an advantage in this regard

Not only is it exactly about time that Dinge says they’ve started working on the new Halo game, but they haven’t worked on their current titles since 343. Unlike something like that, Slutz talks to Angela about the same modern version of Hali games.
