StatsDrone’s affiliate statistics app wins “Best Tech For Affiliates” award.

The iGB Affiliate Awards 2024 took place for the last time this year at the London Affiliate Conference in London. The 2024 award ceremony marked the conclusion of a week-long meeting between exhibitors and partners.

The Affiliate Awards themselves are one of the most well-known and longest-running events (the first series of industry awards took place in 2008, then known as the CAP Awards).

StatsDrone wins the award for best technology for partners

StatsDrone co-founders attended the ICE and London Affiliate Conference throughout the week and met with partners. The week included evening events with ThrillTech and a dinner co-hosted with ReadyAffiliates.

After three long, tiring days of meetings and tours of the show, the event ended with the highest possible result as StatsDrone took home the win for Best Technology for Affiliates.

Shortlist for the best technology for partners

Companies shortlisted for the Best Tech For Affiliates award include:

  • Bazoom
  • Intelitics
  • PartnerMatrix
  • RavenTrack
  • ReferOn

What is special about the award for StatsDrone is that it is a startup competing against giants of the iGaming industry, which are established and recognized companies. The StatsDrone team has been busy bootstrapping their software.

In 2023, the company raised a round of investment to accelerate the business and the risk clearly paid off for the company. They were able to invest more in outstanding features of the app, including a complete redesign of the app with a new mobile interface.

About StatsDrone

StatsDrone Inc was founded in December 2017 by co-founders John Wright (read our interview with John here) and Darrell Helyar.

The company’s concept is based on the challenges of running affiliate websites and experience as an affiliate manager.

The problems were developing an advanced statistics app that aggregated data and focused on helping affiliates make more money but also preventing loss of revenue.

Loss of revenue occurs when programs change tracking links and the old links become invalid. Another example: When programs are discontinued, partners are sometimes never informed and it is a lot of work to stay abreast of changes in the industry.

StatisticsDrone history and milestones

The company first developed a desktop app in 2018, but after many difficulties with the app, they decided to redevelop the app in 2020. In 2021, the company welcomed its first customers and was able to collect feedback to make improvements.

Notable developmental milestones

  • Over 1200 supported iGaming affiliate programs
  • More than 650 iGaming programs are supported with API
  • Introduction of a BI tool for marking brands and campaigns
  • Introducing a BI tool for data alerts and notifications
