This week’s Acca from Sporting Life for Saturday 12/16/23

NOTE: Acca was reduced from 50/1 to 40/1 on 12/16/23 at 11:16 GMT

The weather may have done the most damage to us before, but we have five teams that are being supported at even greater odds than before.

The first team is HULLwho returned to winning ways with an away win at Middlesbrough in midweek.

Liam Rosenior’s men have only lost twice at home this season – against Southampton and Watford – and are in a good position against Cardiff.

Elsewhere in the Sky Bet Championship: MILLWALL have been in a difficult form, but so have Huddersfield, and a home game against a fellow contender gives Joe Edwards’ side a chance of three points.

A series involving Leicester (A), Cardiff (A), Sunderland (H), Ipswich (A) and Coventry (H) was always going to be difficult, but the 4-0 away win at Sheffield Wednesday is a good indicator that we can handle it expect when they face teams in a similar position.

Into Sky Bet League One and our only away team from Acca. PETERBOROUGH were in good form and will travel to Fleetwood full of confidence.

Darren Ferguson’s side are just a point behind the top two in England’s third tier, while Fleetwood remain in the relegation zone.

CHELTENHAM Although they are bottom of the table, they are in a good position as the change in leadership puts them in a great position as they host Leyton Orient.

Under Darrell Clarke there were three wins, three draws and two defeats. At home there are two wins and two draws. For comparison: they couldn’t score a goal in the first eleven league games of the season.

Finally, CREWE are one of the best home teams in Sky Bet League Two. They perform in front of their own fans as they host Accrington.

Only Notts County and Stockport have taken more points at home this season, while Accrington sit 15th in the away standings with five defeats from nine on the road.

  • Bournemouth (v Luton), Derby (v Wycombe) and Doncaster (v Morecambe) were also discussed but did not make the final round-up…

Odds are correct at 1050 GMT (12/15/23).
