“William Hill teams up with PA Betting for Racing Data”

The William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award has announced a panel of industry experts who will review and evaluate entries for the 2023 competition. The panel includes The Athletic’s Nancy Froston, Greatest Hits Radio sports presenter Matt Williams and Neil Foggin from William Hill. Each panelist brings extensive sports knowledge and literature experience to the table and will be instrumental in selecting the longlist, which will be announced in September. Organisers are encouraging authors, journalists, athletes and publishers to submit their sports books for a chance to win the grand prize of £30,000, with the overall winner announced on 30th November 2023 at an official awards ceremony held at BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly, London. The competition has been running for 35 years and has recognised and rewarded hundreds of talented authors in the sporting literature world. Entries covering a wide range of sports are welcomed, and all books will be read by humans, not algorithms, ensuring a fair and impartial competition. The shortlisted authors will each receive a generous £3,000 in cash and a specially produced leather-bound copy of their book. The Reading Panel will select the longlist in September, the shortlist will be announced in late October, and the overall winner revealed at the official awards ceremony in November.
